What defines a quality garment?
24AW marks the beginning of this inquiry in earnest. The season unfolds as a study in contrasts: bold architectural forms that respond to the body's movement, fabrics selected for their tactile depth and structural integrity, craft refined to invisibility or celebrated in raw form. Every piece poses the same question: artisanal expression or refined restraint?
JANUS takes its name from the Roman god of duality, guardian of thresholds and transitions. The collection does not resolve this tension. Instead, it proposes that quality exists not in singular perfection but in the space between opposing forces.
The same materials take radically different forms. Restraint on one side, abundance on the other. Structure and deconstruction. Finished and unfinished. These extremes don't cancel each other out. Precision gains clarity through roughness. Restraint finds power through expression.
This is not about choosing one path. New possibilities emerge when both directions exist together. Control and intuition. Tradition and experiment. The artisan's hand and the architect's eye.
JANUS asks: what if the future of clothing isn't about finding the right answer, but about holding two truths at once?
